I find the homie to be fascinating. I am of the generation where homies were most prevalent. I am always amused and surprised when I come across homies. Even though I don't identify with the homie I do want to point out that it's a hard life to be a thug, pimp or homie. Let's talk about the first and most obvious example which is......

The wardrobe.....


Now in the homie culture there are certain things a thug needs to wear and a thug lady equally has the pressure on her to meet the required homie dress code.

A sweet ride is a homie must.....



Either a hat worn in this fashion or......



A do rag is acceptable as well.



Let's not forget friends about the lady homies. these gals have a certain style they must keep in order to fit into the homie culture.

Boots with the fur







A gigantic pair of hoops that will eventually stretch your ear but looks cool in the meantime.



Oh yes there is more to being a homie then just having a sensitive soul and being just all around do - gooders. Now that we have covered how one must dress to be an acceptable homie I would like to salute homie trends of the past that are no longer with us.....
